The 2024 Boulder County Plein Air Festival

Exhibit will be at the Feed Store, Niwot, CO

June 8, 2024

I will be giving a Demonstraion during the week. Check back for event details.

Important Dates:

  • June 1 – 7: Painting

  • June 8, 2024: Opening Reception & Awards

  • Exhibit open to the public, noon to 6, Thursdays-Sundays through July 5, 2024

  • July 4, 2024: Exhibit open to the public during Niwot’s 4th of July Festivities

  • July 5, 2024: First Friday Art Walk in downtown Niwot, Plein Air Exhibit will be open until 9 p.m.

  • July 5, 2024: Exhibit and Sale closes

 

Estes Valley PLEIN AIR 

“Rediscovering the Art of Plein Air in the Rockies”

August 22 – 28 Estes Valley Plein Air Paint Out

EVPA artists paint on location within a 50-mile radius of Estes Park, including Rocky Mountain National Park.

Saturday, August 24 Estes Valley Quick Paint & Auction

8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Riverside Plaza, downtown Estes Park. Artist registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

Friday, August 30 Estes Valley Plein Air Gala Opening Day

Gala Reception 5–7 p.m. Awards at 6:00 p.m. All artwork is for sale.

August 30 – September 29 Estes Valley Plein Air Sale and Exhibition

Art Center 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. All artwork is for sale.

Snowmass Plein Air

The 2024 Plein Air Festival – August 2024

This summer, Snowmass welcomes the Plein Air Art Festival! From August 4-9, over 20 Colorado artists descend on Snowmass to spend five days painting the natural beauty and splendor of the surrounding landscape. On August 10 and 11, guests and locals are invited to Snowmass Base Village to view the artwork and purchase their favorite pieces to take home!

The 2024 Plein Air Festival – September 20 – 27, 2024

The Kick-Off Quick Draw at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, Sept. 21, a mid-week Sunset Reception, and the opening Night Reception and Awards on Friday, Sept 27.  Details to come as we get closer.
